I’ve just passed the Google Search exam, which means ClickPower can continue to be a Google Partner.

If you’d like to check us out on Google’s Partner Directory, you can find our listing here: https://partnersdirectory.withgoogle.com/partners/7326272022 And here’s my accreditation link: https://skillshop.credential.net/70bcaa1d-c214-46b1-b6b2-80d3f4a7b13a#acc.L5jMwCS3

It took two attempts (and I’m glad it did)

I’ll be honest: it took me two attempts.

On Saturday evening, I jumped on thinking, “I do this stuff every day — I’ll be fine.” I scored 75%.

Not a disaster… but not a pass.

And it was a proper reminder that Google doesn’t stand still.

What caught me out

The biggest thing wasn’t the fundamentals — it was the newer AI functionality and some updated terminology I hadn’t fully clocked yet.

That’s on me.

But it’s also exactly why I actually like these exams: they force you to stay sharp, keep learning, and make sure what you’re doing for clients lines up with how Google wants things done right now.

What I did differently the second time

Last night, I gave myself an hour to read through the resources properly and brush up on the areas I knew I’d glossed over.

Then I retook the exam.

This time: passed.

What it means for ClickPower clients

For you, it’s simple:

  • ClickPower remains a Google Partner
  • We keep our approach aligned with Google’s latest best practices
  • You’re working with someone who’s actively staying on top of changes (including the AI-driven bits)

No smoke and mirrors, just keeping things current, clear, and focused on results.

If you want help with Google Ads (or want a second opinion)

If you’re running Google Ads already and you’re not sure it’s doing what it should, I’m happy to take a look.

Or if you’re thinking about starting and want to avoid wasting budget, we can chat through what makes sense for your business.
